Emily | Batman Boudoir | Central PA

Shannon Hemauer Photography Central PA Boudoir and Contemporary Glamour

Emily took a lot of persuasion from me to keep her session date. She had gained about 15 pounds and was just certain she was going to look fat in her portraits. After many emails back and forth, I convinced her to let me try…if she didn’t like the outcome, well then she didn’t have to purchase any. She left her reveal with them all. <3 Below is her client interview—if you read through her answers and find that you can relate to her, please contact me today to schedule your phone consult. During the planning of her session, Emily confessed she’s a huge Batman fan, so with a bit of brainstorming (and the addition of the studio’s sheer cape), we came up with an outfit to pay tribute to her favorite super hero. How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir/contemporary glamour session and what made you decide now was the time to do one?  I’ve been wanting to do this for about two-three years. I decided to do something for ME! What made you decide Shannon Hemauer was the photographer to work with to do your boudoir/contemporary glamour session?   I read your bio and looked over your photos and felt that you are really talented and professional. And also felt the importance of you being a female American Veteran. What was your favorite part out of the entire experience? The planning, the session, the reveal?  The entire experience was a blast…from getting the initial phone call from Shannon, to planning my outfits—over and over again—to the emailing my many questions back/forth to Shannon. The day of the shoot was so exciting and fun. Did you leave your session worried about your hair/makeup (Maybe you thought the makeup was too dark or your hair didn’t look like

Katie did a boudoir session so she could surprise her now-husband on their wedding day with a few “for his eyes only” portraits—I was told in a follow-up email that her hubby loved them! <3 Below is Katie’s client interview—as always, I invite you to read through her responses and then contact me to schedule your own phone consult. You don’t want to wait—I have ONE session date remaining that works with the Christmas 2018 deadline, with a total of five session dates available for the rest of 2018. You’ll notice the images in this post are of her in the included contemporary glamour dress rental, and that’s because, as I said above, most of her images are remaining private for her husband to enjoy. How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir/contemporary glamour session and what made you decide now was the time to do one? Once I started planning my wedding, I began thinking about gifts for my [now-husband] and that is how I decided that I wanted to do a boudoir session. What made you decide Shannon Hemauer was the photographer to work with to do your boudoir/contemporary glamour session? I did research on a few different photographers in the area. The reviews for Shannon were amazing and definitely convinced me that she was the one to go with. Everyone had written about how positive of an experience it was for them and how comfortable Shannon and her team made them feel, and that was huge for me. What was your favorite part out of the entire experience? The planning, the session, the reveal? The whole process was so much fun, but I can’t decide between the session and reveal. Once the nerves went away, it was so much fun. Did you leave your session

Millie | Boudoir Central PA | Shannon Hemauer Photography

Boudoir Shannon Hemauer Photography Carlisle PA

“Millie” (not her real name) did her boudoir session six months after her wedding. She found doing the photo shoot after her wedding was less stressful plus gave her something to look forward to once the wedding day had come and gone. During the planning process she mentioned to me her husband plays the piano and we wracked our brains on how we could incorporate his love of music into her session—she came up with the idea of holding sheet music to the song they danced to at their wedding, Brad Paisley’s “Then”! I SO love that song (pretty much any song Brad sings) and it was fun trying to figure out how to make sheet music look “sexy”! 🙂 Below you’ll find Millie’s client interview–please take moment to read through her answers and if you can relate to how she was feeling, please contact me today to schedule your consult. How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir session and what made you decide now was the time to do one? I had thought about doing a session as a wedding gift; however, planning a wedding is stressful enough so I decided against it. I then saw Shannon’s page, “liked” it on Facebook, and decided to take a look at her website. The pictures were very tastefully done. I made the decision then to contact her and get more information—the wedding was over and we were settled into a house together. What made you decide Shannon Hemauer was the photographer to work with to do your boudoir session? I choose Shannon because her website depicted very tasteful boudoir photos. This was something I choose to do for my husband, but I didn’t want the pictures to be extremely revealing or not tasteful. I wanted the pictures to make

Blue-Eyed Jess’s Client Interview | Shannon Hemauer Photography

Contemporary Glamour | Shannon Hemauer Photography Mechanicsburg, PA

Here is a fun fact: I’ve had more clients named “Jess/Jessica” than any other name! This fact really doesn’t mean anything—I just enjoying looking at these sort of things… Anyway…onto Jess’s client interview… Jess contacted me because she wanted to do something fun for her husband. But she also wanted to do this for herself! All of the images from her session are taken at the new Carlisle studio! The “Wall of Me,” as Jess lovingly calls her Reveal Wall in her Client Interview, is how I show all of my clients their portraits if their reveal is at the Carlisle Studio. There is something truly magical walking up the staircase to the studio, rounding the corner, and coming face-to-face with your matted portraits displayed so grandeur! Please read on to see her images and her response to my questions. How long have you been wanting to do a boudoir/contemporary glamour session and what made you decide now was the time to do one? I have actually wanted to do a boudoir session for a really long time. After two kids and being married for 6 years I just said now was the time. I wanted to do something for me mostly but for him too.  What made you decide Shannon Hemauer was the photographer to work with to do your boudoir/contemporary glamour session? I saw a post from her on Facebook and I looked through her page and messaged her to get some info. We had a phone conversation to go over everything, if I had any questions and Shannon made me feel comfortable just over the conversation. I felt like she would understand what I wanted and what I wanted to cover up to make me happy. What was your favorite part out of the entire experience? The planning, the
