Shelby contacted me a few weeks before her wedding—she’d been thinking of doing a bridal boudoir session as a present to her husband-to-be for some time, but had been so busy with work and planning the wedding, she was quickly running out of time to get the session done. When she booked me, I told her because of the timing, I couldn’t guarantee she’d have her album in hand on wedding day.
She was totally fine with this, BUT I wasn’t. It was really important to me that she have her present to give her hubby on their wedding-day morning…so I worked hard to make sure that will happen on June 15th! I’m happy to say her album arrived yesterday! I’m looking forward to hearing her groom’s response!
“I had my session with Shannon and I have to say it was THE best experience!
Since I am putting together the final touches for my wedding, I really didn’t have the chance to psych myself out—I tend to do easily. This worked to my benefit because [it was only] when I approached the stairs to her studio I [finally] got a knot in my stomach. Shannon met me at the top of the stairs with the most friendly and reassuring hug! I knew right then and there that everything was going to be okay.
Shannon takes you by the hand and walks you through the whole process—she really makes you feel at home. She takes the time to get to know you personally. She says that everything you are experiencing and feeling is normal and that it IS okay to be nervous.
My photos show a nervous face at first which then progressed to a fierce, sexy being that owned the camera. I saw a side of me that I didn’t know existed and for once I actually felt beautiful and sexy and desirable. I can’t wait to share these photos with my soon to be husband on our wedding day.
